Every year on Feb. 4, we recognise World Cancer Day, an initiative dedicated to uniting the cancer community to help reduce the global cancer burden, promote greater equity and integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda.

This year's theme, 'Close the Care Gap', speaks to fair and equitable access to cancer care.
